About Natasha Joy
My journey as a creative started in the 6th grade when I tried making YouTube videos for the first time. My dad told me that if I wanted to create videos, I’d need to learn how to edit—and that’s exactly what I did. Learning to edit became a key factor in shaping the passion and skills I have today.
In my senior year of high school, my love for video truly took off, fueled by my competitive spirit. In Indiana, we have a local competition called IASB, and I was determined to win. That drive pushed me to create a variety of projects, from interviews to video magazines. Through those experiences, I discovered my knack for capturing moments and telling stories visually.
Now, I’ve had incredible opportunities to grow my creativity in both videography and photography. This year, I’ve been diving deeper into photography, exploring portraits, sports, and event coverage. Photography has been a fun and challenging addition to my skillset. While it shares similarities with videography, I’ve learned that the two disciplines require different approaches and techniques. It’s exciting to know how to do both, especially since so many clients today need both video and photo services.
I’m excited for new experiences and look forward to creating spectacular projects with the amazing people I have the opportunity to work with!
